Vechta is a centre of the horse trade. Vechta is important to equestrian sport in the region of Oldenburg.

The Oldenburger has found his spot as a centre for all kinds of international sport. It is interesting to watch that its (future) owners drive or fly humongous distances for him.

The proximity to the Oldenburger Horse Centre gave us the idea to change the name of the hotel after we bought it from Igelmann to Hotel am PferdeZentrum. Our wishes came true: people interested in Oldenburger horses come from all over the world to all the events in the centre.
