Collection and processing of personal data

“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (in the following, “affected person”). Art. 4 para. 1 DS-GMO contains a detailed list.

The hotel also uses the data of data subjects to keep any correspondence with them. This is not direct mail for the hotel.

Specifically, it is the collection, storage and processing of the following data that the hotel receives either from the person concerned (via our request formular on the internet, our e-mail, our website, telephone, fax) or via contractual parties (hotel reservation channels from the internet):
Identification data such as e.g. Name, contact details, including (private and professional) address as well as (private and professional) telephone numbers, fax, e-mail-address and via the registration form (BMG Bundesmeldegesetz) additional date of birth, place of birth, nationality as well as if necessary ID card data required for the conclusion of Accommodation contracts are required. This also includes changes to the data on the part of the persons concerned.

Destruction of paper files takes place through the hotel, not through the intervention of third parties (for example, commercial paper shredders).

Any processing of personal data is limited by the hotel to the necessary extent.

Disclosure of data

The data of affected persons (see above) will only be forwarded by the hotel to third parties to which they are legally or contractually obligated (Federal Registration Office, Police, Tax Office).

Bookings via our site are handled by Tourist-Information Nordkreis Vechta e.V., 49377 Vechta.

The hotel does not pass on (sell) data of data subjects to third parties who could use them for the purpose of advertising or could use them to make contractual offers to affected persons, regardless of their content.

Storage and backup of data

The hotel itself stores personal data on separate hardware, which is used only for purposes of the hotel. The hardware and software used by the hotel to fulfill its purpose is only updated, maintained and audited by (confidential) IT professionals.
Paper-based records related to personal data are kept in separate, enclosed spaces.

Affected rights

Concerned persons have the right to turn to a supervisory authority for complaints and violations of the DS-GVO. Supervisory authority is e.g. The provincial commissioner for the state of Lower Saxony or also in the member state of their habitual residence, their place of work or at the place of the suspected violation.

SSL encryption

The hotel’s website uses SSL encryption to protect against security vulnerabilities, which is also used to send inquiries or to use the contact form. If the SSL encryption is activated in the address line (“https: //” with lock symbol), messages sent to us can not be read.

Tracking and analysis tools

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in server log files, which your browser automatically adopts. These are:

These data are only used by us and not given to third parties. The processing of these data takes place exclusively on the basis of the consent of the data subject (Article 6 (1) A DS-GVO). The affected person can revoke this consent at any time. For this he sends an informal message to the e-mail address of the hotel. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Opposition to advertising emails

The data listed in the imprint may not be used for advertising purposes of any kind. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to legal action if unsolicited advertising should be sent.

Changes, additions
